Happy Halloween!!

Is this not the cutest little bee that you ever did see? We took Christopher to a Halloween party the Friday night before Halloween and he was a HUGE hit! As soon as we walked in the door everyone started turning around and making "how cute!" faces. We even had strangers come up and take his picture! It was funny! Unfortunately on Halloween night it started raining right as the kids were about to come out trick or treating, but thankfully it quit soon enough for a few of them to make their rounds. We actually had to wake Christopher up so he wouldn't miss it. We got his cotume on him and went outside to see everyone and we went at the right time because all the other parents on our street with a child under the age of 1 had done the same thing. We got photos of Christopher with his "girlfriend" Isabella from next door. They kept trying to grab each others costumes. He was so tired from all the excitement that after playing with his toys for a little while he crawled to the middle of the den floor and just laid down and fell asleep. It was adorable! We had a lot of fun and look forward to doing this again next year!

Mommy and I went to Grammy and Pop's for a few days while we had a break from school. I had the best time! I sat on the biggest pile of sand I've ever seen, got my first ride on a tractor and rode on a swing. It was great! I love doing all that stuff! We also went and stayed with Mimi and Papa John for a few days so Mommy could go to her high school reunion. I got to see my first live football game. It was great! On our way home we stopped to see Kate and Charlie in Birmingham. Kate let me ride in her swing and I had more fun than I think I ever have before! I cried every time Mommy stopped it. I think I'm going to have to get one of those. There's just nothing like the wind blowing through your hair! So, overall, it was a great break. We were really tired when we got hom, but it was worth it.

Hanging with Hunter

Aunt Caroline, Uncle Kyle and my new cousin Hunter came down to visit us for the day a few weekends ago. We had so much fun! He's still too little to play with, but I tried anyway. We got to grill out, watch football and take a nap. It was great! After the game was over we played outside for a while and then loaded up to go to the walking path near our house. It's one of my favorite places to go. I think Hunter and I are going to have a lot of fun playing together when we get bigger. I've got a lot to teach him! Maybe we can work on rolling over at Christmas...

Yummy bananas!!!!

I am learning what all that food you people have been eating is all about. Some of it you can keep, but one thing I can't seem to get enough of is bananas!!! I could eat them all day long! Mommy gives me about 2-3 cubes sometimes and I always cry when they are gone. She said I have to eat other stuff besides bananas, but I'm not so sure she is right. She can't give it to me fast enough! Sometimes I have to grab the spoon myself because they are so yummy! If only peas tasted this good.

Going somewhere?

I'm trying my hardest to figure out how to crawl around. I get frustrated sometimes because I keep going backwards, but I'm spinning on my belly like a champ! I found this great bag lying around one afternoon and figured I'd try it on for size. I think I'm going to fill it with some of my toys and that way I can take them from room to room and then my parents won't have to do it for me. I think they'll like that too. All I know is that when I start crawling, I'm going places! This staying in one place and watching Mommy and Daddy walk out of a room without me is for the birds! So everytime they do it, I just have to remind them that they must have forgotten me .

I love new things!

I absolutely LOVE the cooler weather!!! Especially when it's windy outside! It makes me laugh and get really excited. It's started to warm up outside again and even though I love wearing my overalls, I don't mind too much because Mommy and Daddy let me sit outside and play in the afternoon. I just discovered that we have a sunroof in the car and when Mommy rolls the windows down and opens that sunroof I get so excited that we laugh all the way home. It's so much fun!!! I've also discovered shadows. Sometimes they show up on my legs when I'm riding in the car and those make me squeal too. I keep trying to catch them, but I haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.

My little neighbor

Meet my next door neighbor, Isabella. Isn't she cute? Her parents are from Brazil and just moved here from California. She is a month younger than me and doesn't know any other babies, so our mommies like it when we play together. She's pretty fun, she just learned to roll over so she showed me she could do it when we were playing the other day. She has great hair, doesn't she? I always want to grab it and try to pull myself up, so Mommy has to watch me to make sure I don't do that. Maybe we'll get to play more as we get bigger. Right now we just stare at each other and make squeal noises.
