This crawling stuff is awesome! I keep finding more and more stuff all the time. The other day I discovered that there are windows behind the blinds I've been playing with. Mommy has to raise them up because I keep pulling on them and I had no idea what a treasure I'd find! It's great because if it's too cold, rainy or Mommy's busy working inside I can look out the window and see what's going on. It's like it was created just for me! Now, if I could only figure out how to actually get outside...

WAR EAGLE!!!

Uncle Kyle, Aunt Caroline and Hunter came to stay with us on their way to the AU/UA game. The day before the game we had to show our team spirit and I was dressed head to toe (literally) in my Auburn gear thanks to my Mimi and my aunts. It was so much fun seeing everyone showing their favorite colors! I missed watching the game because I was taking a nap, but I hear it was a good one. Uncle Kyle went to the game and obviously pulled for the wrong team, but it's ok, I still love him. Next year I'll be able to pull for my team even more and it will be a lot of fun!! All I have to say is, Warrrrrrr Eagle!!!!!!!!

Burt, Melissa and Nicholas came to visit us and it was fun to get the boys together again. We don't see each other too often, so it's always fun to get together and see what they've learned and how they react to each other. They arrived Friday night and Christopher was so excited he kept squealing and crawling around. We think he was trying to show off, which was really funny to watch. Saturday morning they had fun playing with all the toys and they did very well together. We took them for a walk that afternoon before it got dark and they looked so cute all bundled up. On Monday the moms took the boys to the mall to walk around and they were so tired they just crashed on the way home. They were too cute! Christopher was so tired from the fun he had over the weekend he slept like a rock the next few days trying to recover. We can't wait to see them again and who knows what they will have accomplished by then!

Ready for the cold

We are so happy that the weather has finally turned cooler! Christopher doesn't seem to mind either. He likes wearing his new hat and tried to eat his gloves at first, but then realized that he needed them and left them alone. We are just glad he gets to wear his sweaters and coats before he out grows them! We bought him some tennis shoes at a yard sale a while back and didn't think he'd be able to fit into them until next spring or summer, but they almost fit! He looked 2 years old (minus the pacifer) when we got his warm coat and shoes on him. We weren't quite ready for that yet.

Happy Halloween!!

Is this not the cutest little bee that you ever did see? We took Christopher to a Halloween party the Friday night before Halloween and he was a HUGE hit! As soon as we walked in the door everyone started turning around and making "how cute!" faces. We even had strangers come up and take his picture! It was funny! Unfortunately on Halloween night it started raining right as the kids were about to come out trick or treating, but thankfully it quit soon enough for a few of them to make their rounds. We actually had to wake Christopher up so he wouldn't miss it. We got his cotume on him and went outside to see everyone and we went at the right time because all the other parents on our street with a child under the age of 1 had done the same thing. We got photos of Christopher with his "girlfriend" Isabella from next door. They kept trying to grab each others costumes. He was so tired from all the excitement that after playing with his toys for a little while he crawled to the middle of the den floor and just laid down and fell asleep. It was adorable! We had a lot of fun and look forward to doing this again next year!

Mommy and I went to Grammy and Pop's for a few days while we had a break from school. I had the best time! I sat on the biggest pile of sand I've ever seen, got my first ride on a tractor and rode on a swing. It was great! I love doing all that stuff! We also went and stayed with Mimi and Papa John for a few days so Mommy could go to her high school reunion. I got to see my first live football game. It was great! On our way home we stopped to see Kate and Charlie in Birmingham. Kate let me ride in her swing and I had more fun than I think I ever have before! I cried every time Mommy stopped it. I think I'm going to have to get one of those. There's just nothing like the wind blowing through your hair! So, overall, it was a great break. We were really tired when we got hom, but it was worth it.

Hanging with Hunter

Aunt Caroline, Uncle Kyle and my new cousin Hunter came down to visit us for the day a few weekends ago. We had so much fun! He's still too little to play with, but I tried anyway. We got to grill out, watch football and take a nap. It was great! After the game was over we played outside for a while and then loaded up to go to the walking path near our house. It's one of my favorite places to go. I think Hunter and I are going to have a lot of fun playing together when we get bigger. I've got a lot to teach him! Maybe we can work on rolling over at Christmas...

Yummy bananas!!!!

I am learning what all that food you people have been eating is all about. Some of it you can keep, but one thing I can't seem to get enough of is bananas!!! I could eat them all day long! Mommy gives me about 2-3 cubes sometimes and I always cry when they are gone. She said I have to eat other stuff besides bananas, but I'm not so sure she is right. She can't give it to me fast enough! Sometimes I have to grab the spoon myself because they are so yummy! If only peas tasted this good.
