This has been a really good week considering Brandon has started nights again. I think that the weather has a lot to do with it. I don't have any pics to show what all we've done and I kind of wish I did. But, like they say, sometimes you miss the moment b/c you are too busy trying to catch it with a camera. Tuesday we went to the library for story time, something we haven't ever done. I wasn't sure how the kids would act, but figured it's for 3-5 year olds so whoever is in charge has probably seen it before. They did great. Probably b/c they didn't have to sit still for very long. The sweet lady who read it reminded me of my grandmother with her lovely Southern accent and choice of words that take you back. You know, those fun words that we don't say anymore like, "pocketbook" and "chill-dren". Now I call them "bag" and "HEY!!" Then we went to meet some friends at the park for lunch. Everyone had to leave early, but we stayed until it was time for naps, enjoying the swings and the perfect weather. I think we spent pretty much the whole day outside b/c when they woke up we went right back out again.
Has anyone ever noticed a difference between the "cheap" bleach vs. Clorox bleach? I've always bought the "cheap" ones thinking, it's bleach, does it really matter who made it? But my whites just aren't coming out any whiter then when I don't use it. I'm starting to get frustrated. I love to use Tide, but refuse to pay the higher price for it. I feel like it cleans much, much better than the others, but it's clothes that are playing in the dirt most of the time anyway so I don't really care. Give me your opinion, if you don't mind. I'm headed to Walmart tomorrow and need to know whether I should pick up a bottle.
Sophie wearing the headband that came with her costume. This is the only time she's ever worn it long enough to get a picture. She thought she was funny. She was.
But I don't fight it except when we are going out in public and seeing people that I know will look nice. Like her shoes? She didn't. Not until Daddy liked them. She needs his approval. I have to thank Payless for carrying a $14 pair that look identical to the $40 pair I had to order from the fancy shoe store. The other pair will not be coming home with us and I will be getting my money back.
The kids giving their best smiles they can. Sophie actually isn't scrunching her face up like she normally does and it's really cute!
Sophie checking on the candles inside all the pumpkins. She enjoys pointing out what belongs to who in the family. Let me rephrase that, she enjoys yelling it. She yells everything she says. I wasn't worried about going deaf early until I met her. At least she's yelling words now instead of just screaming crying. Now I know what all the fuss is about!

this house was really funny b/c when Christopher walked up to the little boy he shouted, "you're spiderman!!" Christopher asked him who he was and he said, "Jake." how funny is that?
