Brandon took Christopher for a run after work yesterday and they ended up by the water. They watched the sun start to set and so Brandon saw this as an opportunity to talk to Christopher about God. He began to talk about how God made the sun and the beauty of it setting. He told Christopher, "Did you know God made the sun?" Christopher replied, "God made snakes too." He's right.
Last night we were saying our prayers at bedtime and Christopher is getting much more confident about praying and will actually say his own prayers at supper time. Lately after we say amen, he rolls over quickly and says as fast as he can, "DearGod,Thankyouformytruck.Amen!" Then he rolls back over to tell me, "That was one prayer." He's right again.
